My Story and Why I Started This Blog

Dear Friends, Old and New,

In my introductory post to this blog, Time to Stop Thinking and Start Doing, I shared that doing a blog is something that I have thought about doing for a long time.   And I have learned about myself over my sixty-something years that I must have an outlet for creativity.  My outlets can range anywhere from sewing, drawing, writing, cooking, music, travel, a new adventure…whatever gets my creative juices flowing…and I may even come up with a new outlet or two.

Even though I lost my dear husband ten years ago, I want to clarify that this particular time in my life is a good time.   I am starting a new chapter in my life by moving from South Texas to Colorado Springs, Colorado ~ a move that I’ve been wanting to make ever since I left Colorado so many years ago.  That sign that reads, “The mountains are calling and I must go,” feels like it was written especially for me and now seemed like the perfect time to make the move.  My faith is strong, my family is intact and my friends are solid.   That is a lot to be grateful for and I am!

I will continue to be creative for the pure pleasure of it, and I will share it with you for the pure joy of it.   Please feel free to leave your comments ~ I appreciate each and every one of them and I can’t wait to read what you have to say!

Welcome, my friends, both old and new!

Much love,
