How to Make a Cross-Country Move Fun

Hello all! Sorry it’s been so long since I posted but…well, you know…moving can be made fun but it sure takes up a lot of time and planning.  Say your prayers, cross your t’s and dot your i’s, and (as some Texans might say) “Git ‘er done!”  And that’s what I did.

Nikki, my Chihuahua, and I started out of Houston at 4:00 a.m. and picked up my daughter — my other traveling companion — on her side of town. Now, if any of you know anything about Houston, or Texas for that matter, you know things there are BIG. Houston is no exception. It took me 40 minutes to get to her side of town, and that was with little or no traffic!
